The author regrets that a typographical error was present in the title of the above article. The correct title is as listed above.
Also on the first sentence on page 1, paragraph 2 should read as follows: ‘For Aberdeen Community Health Partnership (CHP), the study area, a challenge was presented in maintaining quality learning and support for the resultant twofold increase in student nurse numbers, there being a need to build on existing models of community placement learning.’
